"Everywhere in nature we are taught the lessons of patience
and waiting. We want things a long time before we get them,
and the fact that we wanted them a long time makes them all
the more precious when they come."

.the story.

How we met.
Our love story began in December 2000. I was a high school senior and Cameron was a freshman in college. We met through mutual friends at a New Year's Eve party. To make a long story short, I was captivated by him and after a few hours of conversation, I think we both knew that this was going to be different. We began dating and were together almost every day up until he left for Brazil on his LDS mission. After the 2 years, he returned and we still had that fire between us. On July 4th, 2003 we were engaged and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on October 2nd, 2003. Since then, nothing has changed. We are still best friends, we continue to "date" and we are the best team. We value our relationship above anything else and we have so much respect for each other. After 6 years of marriage, we feel we have had a lot of time to prepare to become parents and have such a stable home life. We know that your little one would feel very safe and secure being in our home and we cannot wait to fill our little nursery with a miracle baby.

Ashley is great. She is so much fun. I remember one Saturday afternoon where she decided we were going to drop everything we were doing and just take our dog up in the canyon to enjoy the mountains. We loaded up our four-wheeler and just spent a lazy afternoon together. I love that about her. She is a natural nurturer. She takes such great care of me; always making sure my lunch is packed before work and having dinner on the table when I get home. She cares for people so well, which shows in her profession as a registered nurse. She has worked for the children’s hospital where all her tiny patients would light up to see that she was on shift. I love watching her with our nephews or our friend's kids. They swarm around her and she is always the first one to get on the floor to play trucks or read a story. She is so optimistic. Even through our struggles with infertility, she has never lost hope that we would be parents. She was born to be a mother. I know your child would be so lucky to call her mommy. She looks forward to being a stay at home mom, where she can be there to see that first smile, first step, or first giggle. I am so grateful that I married such a strong, sweet woman and I can’t wait to be side by side with her raising our children.

Let me tell you what I love about Cameron. He is such a sensitive husband, always concerned about my feelings. When I need comforting Cameron is there with a big hug. He is totally laid back. I love that he is spontaneous and will jump at any opportunity to have fun, especially since I love to jump out of the routine and play on a whim. Mostly, I love that he is so kind and gentle. He loves me so well. I know that your child would be so blessed with Cameron as their father. I see glimpses of him with our 2 nephews and our friend's children and I ache for him to have one of his own to share his love with. I know he looks forward to playing in the dirt, making forts out of blankets, fixing up old cars, splish-splashing at bath-time, and telling silly stories at bedtime. I couldn’t go on without mentioning how wonderful of a provider he is, always working hard to play harder. I am grateful that he has a very flexible career that allows us to spend a lot of time together and allows us to vacation often. I am so blessed to call him my best friend and can’t wait to share that love with a little miracle.
